Cheyenne Geysen

Olympic Weightlifting Coach

I was introduced to Olympic lifting by way of CrossFit, which I’ve been doing for 6 ½ years. I started training Olympic lifting specifically in May 2020 and my first Oly comp was in October of that same year. Since then, I’ve competed regularly and currently hold the provincial records for the clean and jerk, snatch, and total in the women’s 30-34 45 kg category.

I had the opportunity to coach Regina’s weightlifting team at the 2023 Sask Winter Games and that experience ignited a passion for teaching others about the sport I’ve come to love. I am now in the process of becoming an NPCC certified coach and am always looking for ways to improve both my own lifting and the way I teach others.

I’m excited to build Adrenaline’s Olympic lifting community and get those platforms packed. I’m a regular around the gym, so please feel free to come chat lifting with me any time!
