Derek Becker
I graduated from the University of Regina in 2006 with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Studies. I am a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. I have 15 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach. Over that time I have trained athletes in a variey of team sports including basketball, volleyball, ringette, hockey, football, and rugby.  My true passion is coaching strongman/strongwoman. I have worked and developed athletes from the novice level all the way to professionals and world champions. I love being a teacher, and the weightroom is my classroom. My training philosophy is simple. A stronger athlete is a superior athlete.
Group Fitness Class Instructor
Shannon Ostapowich
Hi my name is Shannon Ostapowich. I first arrived at adrenaline strength and conditioning to attend the ladies strength classes. At the time I was an avid runner but rarely set foot inside a gym by the end of the session I was hooked. I gave up running and focussed solely on weight training. In 2017 I competed in the physique category and a body building competition. In 2018 I became a SPRA small group fitness instructor and started teaching fitness classes. With encouragement from the team at Adrenaline I recently started my own class First Lifts in the fall of 2019, catering to the fifty plus’ers our there. It’s never too late to start. I love seeing the pride on clients faces doing and accomplishing things they not thought possible.
Group Fitness Class Instructor
Cheryl Guidry
I’m Cheryl Guidry, Certified Personal & Group Fitness Trainer and Chartered Professional Accountant. I began training in 2017; however, fitness has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I’m passionate about fitness and truly believe you can be fit at any age. I keep it fun, interesting and challenging. I don’t believe in aging gracefully and I definitely don’t believe in ‘workouts for women’. I do believe in building a community of like-minded people who will challenge, support and push each other to the next level. I’m proud to be teaching the Adrenaline ladies strength class and my own signature Saturday morning B*tch session conditioning class.

Olympic Weightlifting coach
Cheyenne Geyson
I was introduced to Olympic lifting by way of CrossFit, which I’ve been doing for 6 ½ years. I started training Olympic lifting specifically in May 2020 and my first Oly comp was in October of that same year. Since then, I’ve competed regularly and currently hold the provincial records for the clean and jerk, snatch, and total in the women’s 30-34 45 kg category. I had the opportunity to coach Regina’s weightlifting team at the 2023 Sask Winter Games and that experience ignited a passion for teaching others about the sport I’ve come to love. I am now in the process of becoming an NPCC certified coach and am always looking for ways to improve both my own lifting and the way I teach others. I’m excited to build Adrenaline’s Olympic lifting community and get those platforms packed. I’m a regular around the gym, so please feel free to come chat lifting with me any time!
