What is the COMBINE?
It’s not crossfit, it’s not bodybuilding, it’s not powerlifting or marathon running. But it’s a combination of all of the above, requiring the athlete to test strength, endurance, recovery and most importantly mental fortitude. 9 total minutes of actual work with 1 minute rests between each exercise.
* using your current bodyweight as reference to how much weight you lift.
1m Squats at bodyweight
1 m rest
1 m hanging knee ups, hanging leg lifts or toes to bar
1m bench press (1/2 your bodyweight for females or 3/4 bodyweight for males)
1m rows for distance
1m push press at 1/2 bodyweight
1m pull ups or inverted rows
1m DB snatch at 1/4 bodyweight
1m deadlifts at bodyweight
How it works? Each rep converts to so many points which are entered directly into the @superleague.live app. All reps need to be video taped for proof of completion and submitted to judges by midnight of competition day.
What is POWER?
Squat; Bench; Deadlift. You have a total of 12 minutes to kill a 3 RM for all 3 lifts.
This is a nationwide competition, with athletes on all fitness levels competing virtually against eachother. Can be done from the comfort of your own gym.However our intention is to create a community, an environment, a Sunday Superleague where we compete together, feeding and fuelling off each other’s intensity to do better!!!
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
STEP 1: Download the app at http://superleague.global/resources/index.html to register and join the League of SuperHumans.
STEP 2: Select the date in which you wish to compete.
STEP 3: :Indicate your affiliate gym: Adrenaline Strength & Conditioning
STEP 4: Once your online registration is complete click HERE to attend and complete your competition under the support and assistance of the Adrenaline Sunday Superleague Team. Cost to attend Sunday Superleague $40.00.
Once registration is complete you will receive confirmation email with further details regarding actual competition day.
