Powerlifting at Adrenaline Strength & Conditioning
Powerlifting is an individualized sport in which competitors attempt to lift as much weight as possible for one repetition in the squat, bench press, and deadlift. You are given 3 attempts at each lift and the highest successful attempt is added up giving you a total. Each lifter is placed into a specific division and classified by several variables including weight class and age group. Further subdivisions are made between what is known as “raw” and “geared” powerlifting, indicating whether or not the individual is wearing supportive equipment during the competition.

Beginner Powerlifting Class

This class is offered to anybody (Yep, ANYBODY!) from beginners to experienced lifters who want to explore the 3 lifts, techniques and movements in the sport of Powerlifting. Come join us to learn from our experianced coaches. Check times for classes focusing on Bench, Squat or Deadlift.
