Powerlifting at Adrenaline Strength & Conditioning

Powerlifting is an individualized sport in which competitors attempt to lift as much weight as possible for one repetition in the squat, bench press, and deadlift. You are given 3 attempts at each lift and the highest successful attempt is added up giving you a total.  Each lifter is placed into a specific division and classified by several variables including weight class and age group. Further subdivisions are made between what is known as “raw” and “geared” powerlifting, indicating whether or not the individual is wearing supportive equipment during the competition.

 

 

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

 

Beginner Powerlifting Class

Ever wanted to see what Powerlifting is all about? Adrenaline Strength & Conditioning is now offering a class. This class is for anybody (Yep, ANYBODY!) from beginners just learning the basics on the 3 lifts, the squat, benchpress, and deadlift to intermediate lifters who have hit a plateau in their training. No lifting equipment is necessary as this is a raw powerlifting class.

This class is not just focused on improving technique. You will follow a 6 week progressive program with supervised coaching guaranteed to not only improve technical proficiency in all 3 lifts but to increase your 1RM as well. The final day will include testing of your squat, benchpress, and deadlift so you can see for yourself your progress.


Monday and Wednesday 6-7 PM

Limited to 6 people max

Cost is $240 for 12 classes and program.

Private Coaching

Interested in trying out Powerlifting?  One on one private coaching is the best way to learn proper technique, without worrying about looking like you are “doing it wrong” in front of your peers.
